I can still remember going to visit my grandparents on Sunday afternoon after church service.Their house was spacious and full of stately and elegant furniture. I remember the Grandfather Clock located in the center of the family room. It dominated the room towering above all the other furniture.
We used to meet in the family room for family conferences. We would discuss key family issues and celebrate key family events. What I remember most of those discussions was the melodic Grandfather chimes that were heard every hour on the hour and the half hour. The chimes were pleasant and produced a soothing sound.

I grew up in a very tight knit family, we were always visiting my Grandparents house. Every key milestone was celebrated there. We celebrated all holidays, religious events, birthdays and school events. My Grandparents Grandfather Clock always chimed faithfully. I will always remember the beautiful chimes it played regularly.

The other day while I was shopping for a Grandfather Clock I began thinking of the importance the Grandfather Clock played though out my childhood. I know that are many different types of clocks available today. Some Traditional Grandfather Clocks are very expensive models. They typically have expensive clock movements. There are also some inexpensive models that are key-wound Grandfather Clocks. These discount clocks look stately and chime faithfully although their clock movement is controlled by winding it with a key.

There are Cherry finished and Oak finished Grandfather Clocks. The expensive models played elaborate chimes, while the more inexpensive ones played simple melodic chimes hourly and on the half hour.

My Grandparents Grandfather Clock was handed down to my parents as a family heirloom. I plan to purchase one that I can pass down to my family. I hope that I will be able to create the same memories with my family, that I had with my grandparents.

You will see an extensive variety of Traditional Grandfather Clocks for your home or office.
