A successful Whitetail trophy hunter knows the Tips and Tricks necessary to find and hunt big Whitetail Deer. This person has the knowledge to put a strategy together that will put him in a whole different league from the other hunters. If you want to go to the next level of Whitetail Deer hunting you will have to do what the average hunter wont.

It is important to change hunting locations periodically to prevent too much human activity on any one area. Whitetail Deer will only take so many chances before they change their pattern and stop walking by your stand or blind. If you are hunting bigger smarter Whitetails it may only take one encounter with a human to send him in another direction. With proper scouting you should be able to strategically place 2 to 4 stands or blinds to give you this advantage.

2. Deer have a superb sense of hearing. When you are white tail deer hunting, you want to be careful with how loudly you use calls. It is important to make your calls sound as natural as possible. Deer can hear very well at great distances so it is more important to make your call sound like another deer. It is also important to limit the amount of calling being done. Grunting or rattling two or three times every 15 to 20 minutes should be plenty. If a deer is in the area he or she will hear it.

3. Get off the beaten path. Deer avoid humans and hunters, and you should too. If you are able to go a little extra mile in your hunting grounds, do it. Getting away from common areas will present you with opportunities no one else will have. Chances are, there are the bigger bucks in these areas as well.Remember the more you hunt, read, scout, and practice the better you will be. Good luck and happy hunting.

These are just a few of the many whitetail deer hunting tips you will need to know to be a successful deer hunter. If you want to be a better hunter you will have to do what other hunters wont.
